About This Project
Hammer Forged Fitness came to us with a bold vision: create a gym experience that feels as intense and dynamic as the people training in it.
With an all-black interior as the backdrop, the goal was to use lighting, music, and video to shape the environment—whether it’s high-energy group training or focused individual workouts. Just as important, they wanted everything simple to control from a single app.

Client Challenges
This wasn’t just about technology—it was about timing and coordination.
The gym needed to remain fully operational during construction, requiring careful phasing and precise execution behind the scenes—without disrupting the member experience.
Our Solutions
We designed a fully integrated system that brings the entire space to life—without adding complexity for the staff.
Using low-voltage lighting from Colorbeam, we eliminated the need for traditional MC cabling—freeing up budget to invest in dynamic, color-changing fixtures instead of static white lighting.
The result is a space that can instantly transform:
- High-energy red tones for peak training hours
- Clean, bright lighting for daytime sessions
- Custom scenes for events and branded experiences
All controlled through a single, intuitive interface alongside audio and video.
To round out the system, we implemented:
- Full perimeter and interior camera coverage
- Code-compliant fire alarm integration
- Centralized control for lights, music, and TVs
