House of Worship

Cultivate Connection & Community

Enhancing your house of worship requires expert technical design and support, whether you need to amplify voices with a new audio system or project video onto high-quality displays. With the right audio/video and lighting systems, the folks in the back will witness the same ceremony as those up front. For those who are watching recorded or live worship at home, the quality of the service they tune in for will be improved and easier to follow. Boosting the caliber of the technology systems in your place of worship elevates the entire experience, from the feelings of community to the ability to clearly hear the service. Audio in a house of worship is a component of proper design, speaker selection, high quality microphones and a digital mixer. We provide practical solutions to your audio, visual, and technical obstacles. .

Digital Mixers

Once calibrated and set up by Automated Lifestyles, this "preset" is saved and can be recalled at any time. Analog mixers often have too many hands in the pot and over time the audio degrades. The digital mixers also have advanced features for compression, feedback, and audio routing. Automated Lifestyles prides itself on its ability to provide a professional sound without the need for expensive studios. With digital mixers, a perfect sound is just a few clicks away. The analog mixers don't have this capability and require extensive knowledge to achieve the same results. Our digital mixers are designed with this in mind and offer an easy-to-use interface that is designed for simplicity and accuracy.

Some speakers are meant for high ceilings, others are wall mounted speakers on either side of the altar with a narrow horizontal/vertical angle to minimize reflections. The goal is for the message to be clearly heard. A good speaker system with quality components and proper adjustment of the power amplifier can help make this happen. In addition to basic sound hardware, many houses of worship also use digital audio mixing consoles to combine microphones, CD players, cassette recorders, and other sources of sound into a unified mix. Whether a choir in full voice or an organ playing softly in the background, having quality speakers placed strategically throughout ensures that those sitting close to the front row will hear just as clearly as those in the back.

Right Microphone for the Right Application

The right type of mic, including the right specs, are critical to achieving great sound without feedback. We use gooseneck style for a pulpit, hanging choir mics in the choir loft, instrument mics as needed, and lapel mics for the priest/pastor. Each mic requires different placement considerations to ensure proper pickup without feedback, so we properly plan out the type and number of mics that will be needed in advance. Additionally, we make sure to have enough audio channels as well as plenty of gains so that when you are mixing during services and events, everyone can clearly hear each person's voice or instrument.

Live Broadcast Integration

We use Streamspot which is perfect for Temples where touching electronics on the sabbath is prohibited. Broadcast starts automatically at a set time every week, no one needs to turn it on. Watch live on popular social media platforms (Facebook Live) but also on the homepage of your congregation’s website. Incorporates Pan-Tilt-Zoom PTZ camera and house audio. Enjoy recordings of each service, embedded on the website and on popular social media platforms. Make sure everyone around the world can stay updated with your congregation’s services with a live recorded broadcast.

Projection Screens & Displays

Projection screens in the main church allow for reading lyrics or giving touching backgrounds to the ceremony. Displays in overflow areas or the crying room, allow members to be an active part of the celebration. Projector screens & TV displays can be used for a variety of events in the church, from special services to educational seminars. In addition, these screens are invaluable in gathering people together and providing an engaging atmosphere during worship activities.
