Service Request
To place a service request, please fill out the form below. An email will be sent to our service department to alert them of your request. Note that those with an annual maintenance agreement will receive fastest response time depending on the Tier, as well as our preferred rates for service. For those without our maintenance agreement, standard service rates are as follows:
Remote Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:
- Free for first 15 minutes
- $25 every 15 minutes thereafter
On-Site Service:
- $185/hour for the first hour, 1 hour minimum charge, Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- $150/hour for each additional hour
*Travel fees (fuel, tolls, parking) are also applied depending on the location of service.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. If Automated Lifestyles installed my system in the past but I did no not have a Service Plan is a system evaluation required?
a. If Automated Lifestyles has installed your system prior to three years ago we will also perform a one-time system evaluation prior to completing your enrollment.
2. If I get a service plan do I have to pay for a service call if my system stops working?
a. Our quarterly maintenance checks are designed to prevent most issues that affect your system’s performance, but unfortunately, we cannot control everything that might conflict with your system. In the event you are experiencing problems the first step is to call into our Service Desk and speak with our technician. In most instances, we can resolve your issue remotely and get you back up and running. In the rare instance where we cannot resolve the issue remotely, we will have to send a technician to your home. If we must send a technician, there will be charges. Charges vary depending on Service Plan, but we can let you know what those hourly charges are before we begin work.
3. How do the quarterly checks work?
a. Our Service department will call you to schedule a quarterly check-up that works with your schedule. When our technician will notify you when they arrive on-site and will leave a copy of your system evaluation upon completion.
4. What happens if I must miss the scheduled quarterly check?
a. We understand schedules move. We are happy to reschedule the quarterly visits up to the day before with no charge. If the appointment is canceled within 4 hours of the scheduled visit there will be a re-scheduling fee.
5. What does a quarterly check entail?
a. The system checks involve almost 100 checkpoints that include cycling through the functions of the systems, ensuring updates are completed, batteries are checked, networks are working properly and components are cleaned. This list has been created, and continues to evolve, based on best practices to keep your system running flawlessly.
